The mobile phone manufacturer Xiaomi has a commanding influence and control in the mobile manufacturing industry in China. It has became one of biggest manufacturer of mobile phone in world in just a short span of time. The leaked mobile information on the site gives the details about the features of the Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus mobile phones. According to the information, it says that the phone Xiaomi Mi5 will feature a 5.2 inch Quad HD display, which is found in high-priced Samsung and LG models. The phone is powered with an Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM to give a fast multi-tasking experience to its users. In that case, Xiaomi Mi5 may become the second model to provide such high RAM capacity after the recently launched Asus Zenfone 2. It also comes with a 3000 mAh non-removable battery that provides the phone a long period of power back-up. This phone will include a 16-megapixel rear camera front facing snapper assisted by at least 8 Megapixel front facing camera. A fingerprint sensor could be included as well, although there is no definite confirmation on this. Also, there is no news to confirm if the phone will come with a microSD card slot or not. However, reports and leaks suggest that the new handset will be available with high storage capacities- 16GB and 64GB variants. Let’s move over to the information shared on the Mi5 Plus. As the name suggests, Mi5 Plus will be a phablet variant of the Xiaomi Mi5. It is said to feature a 6-inch 2K display with a bezel-less design, 4GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, and a 16MP rear camera with OIS. Xiaomi has an intelligent plan of action of releasing its device in that time of the year when most of the major devices have passed their hype. It is likely that the company would sell the device in the retail market through their online retailers. We hope that Xiaomi is better equipped this time considering the previous online flash sales, where the inventories ran out of stocks in minutes from its release time. The Xiaomi Mi5 does not sound that impressive on the paper. However, it is the most talked about phone in the market and only time will say if Xiaomi MI5 can deliver to the expected level of performance. It seems like Xiaomi is really looking to push a few new things with the Mi5 and Mi5 Plus, and the rumored July release date isn’t too far around the corner to officially find out either! Update: Leaks suggest Xiaomi Mi 5 to be powered by Qualcomm’s unreleased Snapdragon 820 SoC
