Announced at last year’s Build developer conference, Azure Sphere OS is a customized high-level Linux-based OS that Microsoft has built for its Internet of Things (IoT) end-to-end security platform. The bug bounty programme called “Azure Sphere Security Research Challenge” is a three-month, application-only security research challenge that starts from June 1, 2020, and ends on August 31, 2020. The Java Edition players were given a year’s time to voluntarily migrate their Mojang account to a Microsoft account. On Friday, the company announced the deadline for the migration. Starting March 10, 2022, all of Minecraft’s games will require a Microsoft account to play – including Minecraft: Java Edition as well as those who use the Minecraft launcher on PC. In other words, no Mojang account will work after that date....

JIRA is a proprietary issue tracking product developed by Atlassian that allows bug tracking and agile project management and is used by Fortune 500 companies. Avinash Jain, the security researcher who discovered the problem, stated that the primary reason behind the leak was the wild misconfiguration which was present in JIRA. In a report detailing his finding, Jain states that the misconfiguration vulnerability in JIRA servers lets anyone access the “internal user data, their name, email ids, their project details on which they were working, assignee of those projects and various other information....

Called the ‘Interactive Dynamic Video (IDV)’, this technology makes it possible for humans (and cartoons) to physically interact with photos and videos.
