Several Redditors have discovered a unique bug in Apple’s iOS system which can be used to send a special text message to the iPhone/iPad and send his/her iPhone/iPad crashing or rebooting. According to TriCityNews, the teenager is based in Vancouver suburb of Coquitlam, British Columbia and consistently “terrorized mostly young, female gamers and their parents” after encountering them in the popular “League of Legends” game. The accused, Lawrence Welch, 29, has been charged with attaching an electronic tracking device to his girlfriend’s vehicle, according to an arrest affidavit. Welch was apprehended at the Family Safety Center on Murfreesboro Pike after they received a call from security that the boyfriend of a victim, who was trying to get an order of protection from him, had turned up and was spotted near the victim’s car. Windows security expert Sami Laiho has discovered a simple method to gain root access to the Windows Command Line Interface and bypass BitLocker protection during the Windows 10 update procedure. Laiho says that by holding SHIFT + F10 while a Windows 10 computer is installing a new OS build, an attacker can open a command-line interface with SYSTEM privileges. The problem with this bug is that the CLI debugging interface grants the hacker full access to the computer’s hard drive and total control of the PC/laptop....
