HMD Global, a Finnish company has a 10-year brand licensing agreement with Nokia, under which it will be manufacturing, selling and distributing smartphones running Android as well as feature phones and tablets under the Nokia brand around the world. Recently, HMD Global had announced that the new Nokia devices would be releasing in India by the end of Q2 2017. So, the pre-bookings showing up on the UK website is no surprise. Earlier this month, the Nokia 3310 was spotted online on an Indian retailer website by the name of OnlyMobiles.com, with a listed price of Rs. 3,899, with pre-order kick starting on May 5. However, there is no confirmed launch date or pricing for this phone announced by HMD Global yet. As per Clove UK listing, the Nokia 3 is priced at £149.99 (roughly Rs. 12,400) which is inclusive of VAT, while the Nokia 5 is priced at £189.99 (approx Rs. 15,700) with release date as June 30 for both these devices. On the other hand, Nokia 6 will cost £229.99 (inclusive of VAT – approx Rs. 19,000) in UK and will release sometime in the month of June. Lastly, the iconic Nokia 3310 is priced at £59.99 (inclusive of VAT – roughly Rs. 4,900) and will release by mid of June. Nokia 6 The premium Nokia 6 is already available to buyers in China. The Nokia 6 smartphone features a unibody metal body along with fingerprint scanner. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD with 2.5D Gorilla Glass display. Nokia 6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. It is a dual-SIM smartphone powered by a 3,000mAh battery, which is non-removable. Nokia 5 Nokia 5 comes with 5.2-inch (720 x 1280) HD display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. The Nokia 5 Android smartphone will have a 16GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card and 2GB of RAM. It will have a 13MP rear shooter and 8MP wide-angle front camera and runs the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat (with Google Assistant). Nokia 3 Nokia 3 has a 5-inch HD IPS LCD display, MediaTek MTK 6737 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built memory along with a 2,650 mAh battery. It is available in four colours: Silver White, Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Copper White. Nokia 3310 Nokia 3310 sports 2.4-inch QVGA display with a Candy bar design. The new Nokia 3310 will come with 1,200 mAh battery, which will give 22.1 hours of talk time, which is 10 times more than the original Nokia 3310. The smartphones runs on the S30+ operating system and comes with an updated version of the world famous Snake game. It also has a microSD slot (32GB as limit). However, this feature phone doesn’t have a 3G connection. Nokia 3310, which was found listed for pre-order in Germany and Austria via some retailers along with the release date of April 28, 2017, has been changed to May 26.
