The internet giant is now investing hundreds of millions of dollars in the gaming platform to develop its games and services. The company has its own development studios, with two games – the MMO New World and its first original and ambitious science-fiction multiplayer shooter, Crucible to be released next month. Currently, not much is known about Project Tempo nor its release date. However, an early version of the service is likely to arrive this year, but it could be delayed to 2021 due to the current coronavirus pandemic, said sources to NYT. “We love this idea that you have a player, a streamer and a viewer all sharing in this synchronous interactive environment of Twitch,” said Frazzini.
